Lynn attended the City of God carol concert in Holburn Street. She was honoured to have been asked to make one of the Bible readings.
Lynn visited local businesses in Rosemount Place who had taken part in the #16daysofactivism campaign organised by the local Soroptomists. The business all had orange-themed displays, including this one, the hairdresser La Reve. Together, we can end violence against women and girls.
Lynn attended the Fountain of Love carol concert in Palmerston Road. A joyous and uplifting evening at this very special time of year. Great performances from all the choirs and so many people attended, they had to have two overspill rooms!
Along with around 100 other women and male allies (and some doggies!), Lynn took part in the Reclaim the Night march. These marches started in the 1970s but, sadly are still needed today as women and girls are still not safe from violence in our society. The 25 November marked the start of #16daysofactivism on preventing violence against women and girls.
Lynn spent the day at Scottish Labour's Women's Conference in Glasgow. Events included this thought-provoking presentation from the MSPs Pauline McNeill and Katy Clark, who have done so much to raise the profile of violence against women and girls in Scotland.
Lynn visited voters in the Middlefield Hub, accompanied by local Labour councillor, Gordon Graham. Lots of interesting conversations about how people feel let down by governments at both Westminster and Holyrood and how they are looking forward to (and need) change.
Lynn was on the panel for a discussion on the Just Transition arranged by Aberdeen University Labour Students. This was the event postponed from October because of Storm Babet.

Lots of positive and insightful discussions at the Labour energy round table and evening reception in RGU. Great to hear from Sir Keir Starmer and Anas Sarwar that Aberdeen will be at the forefront of Labour's energy policy.
I spoke to many people from the energy industry who were impressed by Labour's vision and quite a few who are going to vote Labour for the first time!
Lynn attended a wonderful evening at Hilton Community Centre celebrating Durga Puja. Entertained by dance, poetry, music and song, all in honour of the Hindu goddess Durga. As Lynn said in her thank you speech (link below), it may have been her first Durga Puja, but it won't be her last! Thanks to all for the very warm welcome!

Many people mentioned it was time for a change of government and Lynn is determined to be part of that change and the fresh start Aberdeen and Scotland sorely need.
This afternoon, Lynn attended the public update about the Belmont Cinema. The Trustees have exciting plans for the future and here's hoping we can get our local independent cinema reopened soon!
At Aberdeen City Council today, Lynn spoke in debate about the impact of poverty and asked the SNP/LibDem administration to fund warm winter clothing for children instead of paying £50,000 to set up a Citizens Assembly to discuss poverty. Citizens Assemblies do have their place, but we already have a lot of information at our fingertips and the time to act is now.
At full Council, Lynn spoke about the closure of six city libraries and the disappointment that library campaigners had not yet been given a voice in the chamber.
